I'm a young lady with big dreams of a warm, welcoming home, filled with a husband, children, pets, and the perfect decor. Yes, I aspire to be a homemaker. Currently, I am stuck trying to figure out what boring career to study (in case my dreams don't come true) and living with my parents, with no boyfriend beside me or even out on the horizon. I still have time, so everybody says, but I feel like something needs to start now. Like, right now...NOW!
God has other plans, however.
In case you're wondering, I am a Christian. I grew up in a Christian home and have been a Christian since I was about 5 years old. Let me tell you, being raised a Christian doesn't make the walk easier. It certainly saved me from a lot of life's heartaches, but I feel I'm more prone to apathy than people who find Christ later in life. Having said that, I just got out of the worst spiritual dry spell yet, and I'm trying desperately not to go back. I've realized my life without Christ sucks. Big time. But he has lead me through it, and thankfully he's given me the "joy of Thy Salvation" back.
Besides restoring joy unto me, he has blessed me with the best family, immediate and extended. My immediate family consists of happily married, Christian parents, and brothers. I love having brothers. I'm no tomboy, but something about boys makes life hilarious. Plus, since I'm the only girl, I get to be spoiled by both my parents and my brothers.
My extend family consists of lots of uncles and aunts and cousins, most of which are strong Christians. Oh, the fellowship we have when we all get together! The best part is, we all live relatively near each other, so get-togethers happen more than just Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I don't have a lot of interests outside of marriage and family. Nature is probably my biggest interest. I love exploring the great outdoors. Ooo, you know what goes well with exploring? Photography. I love photography, too. I don't have a lot of resources, though, so my photography is pretty limited right now.
Hopefully that gives you a feel of where I'm coming from. I definitely could've expounded more, but I didn't want to overwhelm you on your first trip down "the hole."
